MOUNT LITERA - BHATINDA
Mount Litera, Bhatinda housed a series of interconnected and interlocked compact buildings which seems to form clusters when viewed from the exterior but it is actually one consolidated single unit built on a balanced zigzag path.
It’s elegance and high space utilisation is quite apparent and evident through its beehive-like structure. It is a very complex and intriguing concrete system separated by a very unusual flow but all seems too integrated seamlessly at the end. Its land usage is optimised through modular hexagonal and freeze amoebic cell division like forms that deliver a very unique, distinct and unconventional look as a whole.
Rooftops are padded with greenery, others are reservoirs of water and rest remaining terrace are concrete with a consistent colour pattern. There is an uneven consistency which begins at one point and ends at other point making approximately a U shape with ample space in the middle.
On close observation, it is found to resemble a loosely stacked Lego structure but it is been intelligently conceptualised and implemented flawlessly. This mega structure seems quite overwhelming and equally attractive in its appearance. Retaining natural beauty and futurism were key characteristics ingrained in its blueprint. The surroundings are well filled with green foliage and it covers the entire landscapes with well-manicured gardens which are not only visually appealing but at the same time add a beautification to the overall construction.
The classroom is tailor-made to suit and engage the students by devising various interactive sessions and our learning environment supports them to have an unparalleled hands-on experience through multiple activities. Our physical space is designed to minimize distraction in teaching and learning activities and ample room is available for reconfiguration of students sitting patterns depending on the conduction of a particular educational activity.
